Colour - Reds

Autumn is here and the garden is popping with every shade of red. They sing against the greens that are still vibrant before the real chill of the season sets in. It creates a beautiful palette.

Oh!.....and we found a fairy door in the magnolia tree at the bottom of the garden. I am told that Maggie the fairy lives there!

Colour - Pink

Pink is not my favourite colour but today, it seems,  has a pink theme. My garden is full of gorgeous pinkness.......

....and walking my smallest to school we found the Wills and Burke monument covered in pinkness reminiscent of Christo.
.....and my lovely and beautiful and talented friends Bethan Matthews and Paula Cloonan are part of Totnes and Dartington Open Studios this weekend.

Colour - Orange

A certain hue abounds in my garden at the moment. The gorgeous oranges hum against the greens. I love it, but I have to admit its by luck rather than judgement.

Coloured Glass

I have found a way to distract myself all to easily. As I mentioned in an earlier post we are moving house, so I am starting to sort and pack up stuff. In the process today I just had to take pictures of my coloured glass.

I have collected coloured glass for years. Nothing of any particular value to anyone else but me. I just love the colours, the translucency and the way  they sparkle like fairytale jewels. They always inspire.
